Why I’m on Couchsurfing

One day, I have met a guy from Budapest and I showed him around Amsterdam. It was so funny that he complained about how terrible food is in Amsterdam. A conversation with him was a very unique experience. We found things in common and also found things that are very different. Then before he left Amsterdam he introduced Couchsurfing to me.

Meeting people from other cultures is always fun and exciting. You can learn things from them and all those experiences with them will help you understand a new culture a bit easier.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a modern guy with an old-fashioned spirit. I do like 70's, 80's, 90's pop and rock🤩🤩 There is a big room for rock since I was 11. My favorite bands are the Oasis and the Killers. If you like them too, I will give you an extra big hug for you 🤗

Watching movies is the joy in my life. I have watched about 1.200 movies. I am not exaggerating. I just really love to watch them 😂😂 I like all genres but I rarely watch rom-com and high teen movies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I was born and raised in Korea which means I didn't have many chances to meet and experience a new culture. so if someone asks me what is one amazing thing you have done, I would say, without any hesitation, making a decision to apply to the exchange program to Amsterdam. No regret.

I can teach you some basic Asian culture thing. Especially how Asians say... this will blow your mind 🤯 because everything you have known and thought about will be completely different from mine.

You can teach me about your culture! And when it comes to food, I will be your best student 😆
