ABOUT ME

Hi! My name's Harry, and I'm 19 years of age. What can I say here? I love new experiences, and find new people and places hugely exciting and interesting. I only recently became aware of Couchsurfing through a friend, and hope it will help me in my quest for this.

I have a fun-loving side, and a serious side... in fairly equal measure... show me what you enjoy, and I'll give it a go!

I'm an honest person, and hope you are too... it's the simplest way! I think I have a good judge of character and emotion.

I'm easy going, strive to be happy and make the most out of life.

PHILOSOPHY

At my young age, and possibly at any age, I think it's expecting too much to have a fully formed philosophy on life. I do have ideas and notions aplenty, but am always looking to expand on this. Every experience has the ability to change someone's outlook forever, and I want to collect as many experiences as possible.

I think lifes most important challenge is to get the most you can from everything you do, and it seems to me this is the simplest way to stay happy.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As I see it, Couchsurfing is all about discovering new people and cultures, being giving and welcoming, and sharing one's wealth (in the less materialistic sense of the word).

I hope to give as much as I can, and receive as little as I need.

Interests

Travelling
Seeing as I'm on this site, it probably comes as no surprise that I'm interested in travelling! I haven't even scrached the surface of what I want to do, and where I want to go, but I'm young, and have my whole life ahead of me!

Technology
I love the possibilities that technology brings, and the challenge of making it work as well as possible for you.

Cars
A car opens your horizons, allowing you to do things that were previously impossible. I also love the mechanical side of it, and working out how bits work, and what they're there for, and what to do if they go wrong!

Philosophy
It's the fact that everyone lives life with a different philosophy, and a different goal that interests me most in this subject, and I hope to hear as many as I can.

Music, Movies, and Books

I currently have about 16,000 songs on my computer, and add to this as much as possible. I don't like just one genre of anything, I don't want to limit myself in that way. I don't like everything though, but how will I know I'm not missing out if I don't see/hear/read it before passing judgement??
