Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
Being an Anglophone in Quebec City...it's actually pretty cool.
ABOUT ME
Hey guys,
I'm fairly new to CouchSurfing, but I'd love to help show you around while you're here in Quebec City. I have a couple of extra bedrooms, and my place is in a perfect location. I'm friendly and laid-back, and I speak English, French and some Spanish.
PHILOSOPHY
"'Live fast, die young?' Not my way. Live fast, sure – live too bloody fast sometimes. But die young? No. Die old. That's the way - not orthodox. I don't live by 'the rules.'"
-David Brent, the boss on the UK version of "The Office"...the British Michael Scott, if you prefer.
(I don't actually think this. I just always thought it was an entertainingly stupid quote).

Enseña, aprende, comparte
Good lord, there are a lot of questions on this profile thing.
I know a lot of nicknames of U.S. college sports teams, and I can recommend where to go if you want a night out on the town in Corning, New York. I went to bartending school a few years ago, and haven't forgotten everything.
In seriousness, I studied in La Reunion during the 2004 U.S. elections. As one of the few Americans on the island, I was sort of a "flag-bearer" there; I was interviewed constantly about the elections, both formally and informally.
I really think that I'm able to explain well the United States and how Americans think, both the good and bad points, from a neutral point of view, purely to educate, without trying to sway. In my experience, foreigners tend to have a *lot* of misinformation about the U.S. I'm always glad when I can clear things up and make people think in a different way than their home country presents things.
