ABOUT ME

I'm a writer and artist. I have published many short stories and am working on a novel. I teach creative writing at Brown during the summer as well as freelancing as a copyeditor, proofreader, and writer for hire. I have also played music (played in a band for many years) though not lately. I have a million interests and way more ideas for projects than I will ever have time for.

Film, music, art, history, languages, to name a few. I love learning new things and am happiest when I have a lot going on. Interested in meeting other artists, writers, or anyone with passion and imagination. I'm a lifelong thrift store/flea market afficionado with a passion for found photographs, old AV equipment, weird old 16mm films, etc.

I love whimsical satirical 60s films like The Ruling Class, Le Roi de Coeur, The Loved One, Dr. Strangelove, Weekend...

Fave bands are ZNR, Klimperei, The High Llamas, Stereolab; 60s soundtracks and library music; space-age bachelor pad and exotica; out/experimental jazz, etc

Books...too many to list but Nabokov, Barthelme, Walser, Kharms, Millhauser are special favorites...
