ABOUT ME

I am a graduate student in humanity. Although is an adult already, I feel that my heart is still a child. I am always curious about the world, always willing to learn about new things. I try to make things as simple as possible and consider everyone as kind as me. I am an ordinary girl. I have a lot of dreams and plans and always try my best to achieve them. Yet I also understand that sometimes it may not be easy and I can get frustrated. Overall, I am outgoing and open-minded.

PHILOSOPHY

The purpose of everything we do is to make our life better. If anything gives us too much pressure, or needs us to work overnight, that is definitely not good. (I am trying not to work like this, but sometimes still have to)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I offer my couch to travelers whenever possible. I also provide useful information to travelers whenever I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first couchsurfing experience was in China in summer of 2009. me and my friend were hosted by an American English teacher in China. We had a good time with her. During Christmas break of 2009, I couch surfed all the way in Canada for almost three weeks. Everyone I met was fantastic and they made my stay in Canada full of joy. After that I started to host people in my house in pennsylvania and Couch surf whenever I travel. I can say that currently I am an active member of CS.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I switched to comedy movies when I found that some types of movies (like thriller, romance, violence) are too much for my heart to bear. You know, girls can be very emotional and easily affected by movies. My favorite type of book is biography. I want to know others' life, and believe that I can learn a lot from their experience.

won a provincial gold medal in speed walking when I was in high school.

I have been a university teaching assistant since 2007. I love teaching and sharing knowledge, not only in classroom, but also with people I meet anywhere. I believe that i can always learn something from others.
