I am a primary school teacher from Fryslân, The Netherlands.
Teaching multiple levels at the same time (currently 9 till 12 yrs old)

In my summer holiday i work as a travel-guide for 1-2 weeks with special needs.
I believe that everyone deserves a holiday.

Most of my weekends you will find me at the beach, as a lifeguard securing the North Sea at the province of Zeeland.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and travel around the world. Learn new languages and cultures.

Planned activity 2022:
- Motorcycle trip Europe, hope to stay in different countries by couch-surfing.
- Roadtrip Canada

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelled alone unplanned to Canada (for 5 days).... hired a car... and saw a turtle crossing the road. Crossed a few lakes with a canoe. Although it was a short visit, it was a great. It also made me realise that I can have fun going on holiday myself and meet new people.

I am social, idealistic, easy going... can teach about many subjects... I am eager to learn about new languages and cultures. I believe understanding the language and culture of every country is the key to the 'peaceful world'. Furthermore I hope I can make a difference to someone's world.
