CURRENT MISSION

Moved to South America in October 2013 to work as an English teacher. Lived for more than 3 years in Buenos Aires before travelling up to Medellín via Bolivia, Perú and Colombia. I ended up living for 9 months in both Perú and Colombia before returning to Buenos Aires for 6 months. In May 2019 I moved back to Oslo, Norway.

ABOUT ME

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was in Tibet walking around a Buddhist monestary in Lhasa I had an old Tibetan lady stick her tongue out at me. So I stuck my tongue out right back at her! Not because I'm an idiot but because in Tibetan/Buddhist culture the Devil has a green tongue and if a person is feeling unsure about a person they stick their tongue out to a) show that they're not the Devil, and b) to ask you to reciprocate.

Upon seeing my pink tongue this old lady felt much better about my presence and we continued our separate ways around the monastery.
