ABOUT ME

Hi,

I'm Yi-Ning, a curious, imaginative and independent person interested in many things. I like to explore new areas, to meet new friends and to learn/share different cultures and stories!
When I am in city, I often go to museums, movies, bookstores, creative area or local markets. I also like to go in nature, not an expert but like to have more and more adventures. Experience and enjoy life !

I grew up in Kaohsiung. Currently I'm also working in Kaohsiung city.
I was a French major student, during my study, I went to Aix en Provence for student exchange in six months and traveled a lot, I made new friends, even good friends by Couchsurfing. I'd been to Thai-Burma border as a NGO intern for 1.5 months.
After graduation, I stayed one year at HengChun historical town to teach Geography and basic French (I miss HengChun, it is a fantastic town surrounding by nature) , and then moved back Kaohsiung to teach children English. It was fun to be with children, but no much free time and holidays to travel.. Now I’m working for a system integration company. I’m still want to have more traveling time haha, trying to find flexible opportunities to work and move easily.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

- Lied down under sparkling stars night with music after BBQ on freezing mountain with all friends.
- Chose a date to celebrate birthday of my, Pun and Sunny, then bought a cake, spent whole day beside beach
- Took an open umbrella, Jumped down from a high cabinet with my bosom friend (when I was kid)
- Broke a wall in my home with many neighbors and friends; someone broke his hammer stick too
- Spent three weeks and visited lots of places in the east of Australia
- My dad put me on his back while he was swimming!
- Traveled Miao-Li county without planning and didn't know where to sleep overnight in winter with Hallie (the end is amazing, people were nice there)
- Lied down on streets near my house at night, ran crazily through several streets without shoes
- Every family trip when I was child
- Explored in every places even in school with friends or sometimes alone (imagined ourselves as great explorers)
- My exchange student life in France
- The time I was an intern in a Taiwanese NGO work team near Thai-Burma border
- Taught at HengChun, everyday surround by noisy but lovely kids
- Writing postcards for friends also received postcards.
- Having precious friends that met from CS for years~ And we had tried to meet and travel together again somewhere in the world! ♡

- I can teach you Mandarin and basic Minnan ( a dialect that most Taiwaneses speak in daily life )
