我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I definitely like adventure. I am a very open minded and social person. I like to meet up with people listen to their stories and sharing mine. This is probably the number one thing about me, I really like people.
Nevertheless, lately I have started to enjoy spending some time with myself, enjoying some calm, cooking healthy stuff and exercising either at the gym or in a park. So this is also why I wanted to start traveling solo. But I can't fight my true nature... I still love meeting up with people, going for a beer, sharing, laughters and go crazy now and then. Despite this very outgoing part of me I was still a bit scared of traveling solo... This is why I decided to join CS as it was the perfect combination to me : adventure, people and solo traveling !

教，学，和分享

Well I would say that teaching and learning are the two main elements in my everyday life. As I am a teacher I constantly have to learn in order to teach. And I LOVE this more than anything. Since I was a child I was always described as "very very patient" ... with the others. (I have to admit I might not always be with myself). But indeed this huge patience I have is a plus in my life, I really don't mind explaining it again, and again and then again. Teaching is mostly repeating anyways :)
So I have studied Germanic languages (English, Dutch) and then I started to learn German as I am completely in love with this language! My mother tongue is French (Belgium is complicated...). So I would be very willing to teach you some of these. As to me, I love learning new languages. I really wanted to learn Arabic but the alphabet made it complicated for me... Now I'm thinking about learning Croatian or maybe another Germanic language. Who knows...
