ABOUT ME
I'm 29, moved to Israel in August, 2011 from Myrtle Beach, SC, USA, and spent some good time here. Spent a year in the Army, studied at Hebrew University, managed the only gay bar in Jerusalem, and now work at a hotel with a great variety of guests... I like all kinds of people, talking about all kinds of things, and doing all kinds of stuff!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Host when I can, travel when I can. Love this thing!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed in Nashville and Dallas, in the US (different profile who's login info I forgot, oops), and Guadalajara and Morelia in Mexico. I've hosted a few people here in Jerusalem already, but can't host in my current apt.
Interests
I'm a huge language nerd, I speak fluent English, Hebrew and Spanish, and fair-to-middling French, Japanese, Levantine Arabic, Israeli Sign Language, and Russian. I studied linguistics here at university, and I can talk for hours about this crap :P
I'm gay, live with my boyfriend Doron, and worked as the manager of the gay bar here in Jerusalem for more than 2 years. I love seeing local gay scenes, visiting the bars, and seeing drag shows!

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Almodovar, hilariously terrible horror movies of the b-movie variety. I read some fiction (Murakami and Asimov are favorites), but honestly most of the time I'm reading language textbooks. Music: Sigur Ros, Radiohead, Neutral Milk Hotel, Cake, Gogol Bordello, Cibo Matto, Elliott Smith, Bjork, Portishead, Bonobo, Bossa Nova (the whole genre), Thievery Corporation, Janelle Monae, Damien Rice, Gotan Project, Ratatat, St. Vincent, The White Stripes,
