Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Enjoying and saving the nature.
ABOUT ME
Standard finnish guy. Tall, blue eyes, very mellow. I'm a noncomformist in a comfortable and no-stress kind of way. I like travelling alone and don't care too much about pretty buildings and such things. I'm a vegetarian and ride my bicycle even when it rains.
I'm pretty good at rock climbing and juggling and pretty bad at playing guitar (I own 2). I love my cat. I'm currently doing my masters degree in mechanical engineering and at the same time working with some power plant stuff.
PHILOSOPHY
I like to believe that there is always something to learn even from people and things that seem foul at first. There is always a logical explanation to everything. By keeping your mind open, tolerating and having courage to try and understand these things, a lot can be learned and taught as well.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I've only been hosting so far. Tried to surf a couple of times but couldn't find a host. I've visited some people who I've hosted though.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've had a lot of fun and made some good good friends by hosting. It's one of my favourite things and has truly had an influence in my life.
Interests
I have a bunch of hobbies that I don't have enough time for. I do some rock climbing, astanga yoga and all kinds of sporty stuff. I also play a little guitar, mostly for my own amusement.
I love to talk about nonsense psychology/philosophy. I'm interested in how different people resolve things in their life and find balance. How different people from different cultures interpret and make art. The kind of conversations that most engineers hate...

Music, Movies, and Books
I like pretty much all kinds of music. I listen to a lot of peculiar stuff from many genres of electronic music all the way to progressive metal and so on. I have quite high standards for films that I see. Most stuff that is easily available isn't that good. I used to read a lot when I was younger, but nowadays I struggle to find the patience to read as much as I would like.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Sometimes the simplest things can be amazing when you stop and enjoy the moment.
I shook hands with a live monkey in Turkey. Made me realize that we are the only species that is capable of messing up our amazing nature and so we are also responsible of not doing so.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can take you rock climbing or try to teach you some juggling. I enjoy cooking, so you'll probably get a free meal if you stay at my place. My girlfriend makes yummy foods.
