About Me

* I reactivated my Couchsurfing account in Aug 2024, so I'll be always available for any contact you are to try :)

Hi all, I'm a 31-year-old guy who is working in e-commerce and SCM industry. I love traveling around the world ever since I was super young, and thanks to Couchsurfing I had some precious experience of exchanging cultures while staying in different places with heartwarming hosts.

I'm really into understanding different cultures while introducing Korean culture as well. I also have some experience in my workplace when I mingle with expat guys from different countries. I believe I'm quite open-minded person, and I would like to communicate with diverse friends around the world to exchange thoughts on everything :)

Here's some of my references, check this out :)
In case of me not responding to Couchsurfing alarm, just DM me through instagram and I'll get noticed in no time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I'm kinda stuck with work and not traveling a lot, I would like to offer my place to travellers who want to understand Korean culture more. CouchSurfing is still a good tool to experience different culture directly while mingling with local friends!

Interests

I'm a quite open-minded person, at that is maybe why I like to travel around the world and learn other languages. My life goal is to travel around all of the continents and to learn 6 UN-official languages(english, french, spanish, russian, arabic, chinese).

Music, Movies, and Books

Musics:
I love listening soundtracks from diverse films, and in this field, lots of artists are my favorite composers, such as Hans Zimmer and John Williams. I also like to listen epic score music, such as musics from Two Steps From Hell. I'm also quite interested in British rock musics, such as Muse and Coldplay. Nowadays, I'm listening some J-POP musics.

Movies:
I love Sci-Fi movies and fantasy movies (and TV dramas). In Sci-Fi field, Christopher Nolan is my favorite movie director, from Dark Knight Trilogy to Oppenheimer, his movies have power to think more and more. I also like fantasy movies, such as the Lord Of The Rings Trilogy and so on. I'm quite opened to diverse genres, but there's one genre that I dislike: horrors :(

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I walked through El Camino de Santiago in Northern Spain for 34 days. It was a total roadtrip, with a beautiful lanscape of Spain. I met diverse travelers around the world, which is a precious memory of mine.

Also experienced long-term travel with single train, such as Trans-Siberian Railway. It took me 8 days to reach Moscow from the starting city of Vladivostok. I made some Russian friends there who just got released from their military service. Definitely shared our culture there as well :)

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm currently working in e-commerce and SCM domain, but I'm quite interested personally in history as well. I studied a lot about modern history, including both western and eastern society. There will be a lot to talk about this topics. Also, as I'm Korean, I can share some of dynamic stories of Korea, including cultures, history, society, and so on.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Since I was a backpacker, I believe I understand what kind of things I can offer to travellers. While staying in my place, I can offer some of Korean style meal and snacks, since food is the first approach to understand certain culture.
