About Me

I lived in South Korea (Seoul) and now i'm in Germany (Bielefeld) as an exchange student from March of this year, and now planning to travel around Europe on this summer.

I'm enjoying my life in Germany so much, hanging out friends from different country, traveling a lot. I couldnt be me myself well with much of pressure in competetive society of Korea, but now i can slowly return to myself and concentrate on my own life. I feel really lucky and happy about that :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CS is one of most exciting experience i've ever had. I was kind of defensive person who feel more comfortable to being alone and don't really need many companies. However, NOW, i don't know why but i really can enjoy to meet new people and listen some stories of their life. I think meeting new people feels just like opening a new book. And i'm really willing to read it and be some part of it :) This is the reason why i'm on Couchsurfing!

Interests

FESTIVALS; I'm really into art festivals especially MUSIC festivals and also want to get a job in this field. So i'd highly love to visit some festivals in Europe.

PEOPLE; I'm used to be alone, not really comfortable with big group, but also can easily enjoy to meet some new people, talk with them and understand each other, getting close with warm and open-minded heart. I can be an outgoing person whenever i want.

PLACE&CULTURE; Finding some cool place in various area is alway exciting! Historical Architectures, Museums, Parks, Outdoor Market, Cafes, Bars, Clubs, Select Shops, Second-Hand Markets, Restaurants... It helps me to experience and understand their culture.

ART; Basically I'm not an artist but i love to visit art museums and galleries if i can find something interesting. i usually spend a lot of time to look around some artistic place, and also love most of events related in art.

Music, Movies, and Books

MUSIC; Basically I listen all kind of music except gangster hiphop and metal.
I love electronic, jazz, pop, indie, alternative band music. I always try to dig some good music so it would be really nice if we can share what we've listened :D

MOVIE; especially like some movies, which is fascinating with its style or contain something make me think deeply. It doesn't really matter what kind of genre it is.
I like some movies directed by Wes Anderson, Michel Gondry, Woody Allen. Also like animations and Japanese movies. Well, but sometimes i just want to watch movie in a theater with friend for having a nice time.

BOOK; mostly read korean books, novels by Aeran Kim and some poetries. Love to read poetry when i feel gloomy because those always have some meaning in few words and l like to find it out and feel deeply knowing how this expression is so brilliant.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1. volunteer work in Jarasum Jazz Festival in Korea
2. organizing some band music parties in University
3. travel alone in Barcelona and met so many nice people,
Aaand all experience i have had while i stay in Europe for exchange semester!
