About Me

I like to call myself an adventure-hunter. As you can guess from the word 'adventure-hunter', I love trying new things. Sometimes my adventure is something like canyoning, which we usually imagine when we hear the word adventure. But sometimes, it's just small change in my life, that I've never tried! I want to try new things, and become a better person.

I am very extroverted and energetic. I like meeting people and become good friends. I like to talk about myself and listen to others' stories.

These are why I love traveling. Traveling lets me explore new world, culture, people, food, and places. I really enjoy my life in Korea, but getting to know different and bigger world is awesome.

I'm a university student studying child education. As I told you, I like to learn new things, and I want to share what I learned with children. There's famous Korean saying 'you learn to share' and this is exactly what I think. It's some kind of life-long mission to me. I will become a primary school teacher in 2 years!

I wanted to try things that I've never done before and probably hard to do after graduation, so I am taking a year off right now.

These are three big things that I tried and am trying this year:
1. Became a 'docent' ( a person working at museums who explains art pieces to visitors) at Seoul Museum of Art and participated at three exhibitions.

2. Joined a photography circle and held exhibition on our own.

3. Planning a 3 months trip to Russia and United States.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have pretty much experience of traveling, since my parents love traveling and they took me lots of places. But after becoming a university student, I started to think about 'what MY travel should be like'. So I thought of my favorite part of traveling and it was : meeting people.

I thought becoming a member of Couchsurfing is the best way to meet traveler& native of places I visit. Because mostly hosts are travelers, too. I believe Couchsurfing would give me chances to meet great friends!

I am planning three months travel, from early September to early December.
I start my trip from Vladivostok to San Francisco.
I hope to meet good people around the world :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy most kinds of music, but these are my favorite Korean music.

Missing Spring- Urban Zakapa
Spring stands for good days of love, and the singer is missing those days.
It's really sad and mellow. I love the voice of woman vocal.

The rooftop house - Rose Hostel
Usually rooftop house is expensive houses, but in Korea poor young people lives in small rooftop house. It's a song about young man living in a rooftop house, that he is happy because his place is close to the sky, wind, and stars.

For movies, I like movies that gives people messages.
Recently, I watched 'The Best Offer' by Giuseppe Tornatore. It made me think if there's truth lying on lies. This movie even motivated me to take pictures of what I thought.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Photography Exhibition!
I joined a photography circle at the beginning of this year.
I've taken photos since when I was 12, and dreamed of holding an exhibition on my own.
Even though it was not my own but with friends, it was great opportunity for me to concentrate on one topic, take pictures, get it printed and go through steps for exhibition! I'd like to tell you about my pictures!
I felt really proud when visitors talked about my pictures and say good things about it.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can tell you about Korean culture, places to visit in Korea. Also cook you some Korean food like Korean barbecue, Korean pizza, and more.
As I am really in to taking pictures, I can take photos of your family : )
And I really want to share my experiences and photos from previous travels.
