Books:Tango and its Political Economy of Passion, Volatile Bodies, Pride & Prejudice, On Female Body Experience:"Throwing Like a Girl" and Other Essays, etc.

Music: any music that I can dance, Chinese Pop, classical jazz.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

1.I met my favorite-- the most influential contemporary German dance choreographer Pina Bausch when she was touring to Taiwan (I am a co-author and the assistant editor of the Chinese Book entitled "Pina Bausch"), she signed her name in the book cover, gave me a hug, and kissed me in my cheek. I was so touched in that moment!I like her so much! Such an amazing artist. Anyone who read this message and don't know who Pina Bausch is should google her!

2. Once I hiked to the grant canyon national park, I spent 8 hours hiking from the top to the bottom of the canyon, and hiking all the way back to the top. This was the moment I realize how much I can hike.... The other day I was in the sequoia national park, and I saw a black bear just 3m away from me, he got so scared, so did I....

3. I just get an award to do field research in Cuba!!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach Chinese folkdance and salsa dancing to girls. (teaching dance was my previous part-time job) However, just to clarify,I don't teach men whom I just met to dance. I take dance very seriously and professional. To put it straight, I am not looking for any flirting experience in the CS.

I can teach Chinese (I got a certificate in teaching Chinese as a second language, and have torturing experience in teaching Chinese)

I am good in conservation in any kind of Cultural exchange topics. As I was born and grow up in Taiwan, I am very well equipped and experienced in Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese culture. I have been studied in Los Angeles(one of the most racial diverse cities in the world) for three years till now. My friends are from Chile, Brasil,Iran, Germany, Spain, France, etc. I really like to talk to people from different cultural background.

I am learning Spanish right now.
I want to learn more about German contemporary art.
Generally speaking, I am very curious about anything from Europe.
