Hello everyone! My name is Martin and in September I've interrupted my studies and went traveling to South America to learn Spanish, deal with all kinds of situations, and become braver. I want to meet great people and learn from them.

20th of May 2013: The journey continues! On the 30th of May my friend Peter and I are setting out for Iceland! The year without borders continues. Peter has been my friend since the day I was born and I'm really looking forward to these three months!

May 15th 2014: Iceland was amazing, going to Rotterdam, Netherlands for the DEAF art festival!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

As a surfer + I used to host people in my apartment in Reykjavik last summer.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

"Faith in humanity restored." Until now I was traveling with a friend and we were using her CouchSurfing account. We came across amazing people, even people who had to reject our CouchSurfing requests were so nice that we wanted to hug them :D So far I CSed in Comodore Rivadavia, Argentina; Valaparaíso, Chile; and Reykjavik, Iceland. I have met my closest friends thanks to CS :)

兴趣

I love writing songs, traveling and meeting new people. I get lost in a good story very often, in a book, or even a philosophical treatise. I get excited when I face difficulties, impatient to see what kind of an adventure awaits me just behind the corner. I love going further than I dared before, discovering new paths or even new worlds.

Walked 800km across Spain - Camino de Santiago.
Dropped out from my Slovak university and went studying abroad.
Picked my university major irresponsibly, based only on a film I've seen. One of the best decisions ever made.
Went to South America for six month, having no plan at all.
Built a fishing raft from plastic bottles in the middle of Chilean Patagonia.
Played my music in Reykjavik, Iceland.
