About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See hills, mountains, waterfalls, cliffs, gorges, rivers, hot springs, lakes, oceans and seas.

ABOUT ME

There is no simply way to describe me. I love the people in my life. I love animals just as much. Advocating for animals is important to me. Growing up on a farm, I learned so much about how animals interact, and how they have more complicated lives and relationships than one would think. I'm glad I was given this perspective; it makes me appreciate other living things so much more.

In my studies, my research was based around medicine and NGO involvement in developing countries, particularly Central America. Natural medicine is also very fascinating to me.

PHILOSOPHY

Travel is an investment in your future. No matter where you go, or for how long it will be, there's always going to be a great outcome. So much can be learned from traveling. It is definitely one of my favorite things to do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have not couch surfed before, but I hope that when I am given an opportunity to, I hope to be a good ambassador for my country, and I hope to meet many amazing people (which I'm sure won't be a problem).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

None so far!

Interests

Seeing natural wonders is probably my biggest interest. I want to see waterfalls, forests and beaches. I want to see the world before it drastically changes.

What else grabs my attention? Sociology, people, culture, patterns, plants, paintings, animals, life, stones, trees, water, colors, fresh air and interactions.

I spend a lot of my time day dreaming. But when I'm not doing that, painting, sewing, hiking, horse back riding, watching animals, and cooking and researching new places to visit take up a lot of my time.

Music, Movies, and Books

I don't watch many movies, but when I do, I prefer comedy. I never understood the point in watching scary or sad movies - there's too much of that in the news already. I like documentaries too. Such documentaries are like are: The Corporation, The Vice Guide to North Korea, Supersize Me and Meth in America. Other movies that are all-time favorites are The Last of the Mohicans, Fear and Loathing in las Vegas, The Rum Diaries and The Good the Bad and the Ugly.

SO Much Music!!! I always look forward to learning about new musicians, and sharing some of my favorites as well! :)

For books, I enjoyed Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, In Search of Respect, Consuming Grief, Animal Farm, the Harry Potter series, A Brave New World, Memory and Identity, The Things They Carried, the Five People You Meet in heaven, and children's books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Taking a ferry from Italy to Greece was amazing. I stayed up most of the night having incredible conversations with a few amazing people as we watched the landscape go by. It was a full moon, too.
