ABOUT ME

I'm inquisitive, love nature, love meeting new people and learning about where they came from, what is their passions etc... love to read, love to hear and attempt to speak/learn about languages and all in all an open book and tumbling weed.

Other than that, the obvious is I'm very tall! 6'0" and that is not in heels.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm new to the CS site, referred by my cousin but have recently attented a cocktail social in Barcelona. We met with a friendly and generous CSer there and I've been meaning to get involved A)Because I enjoy showing off my hometown of Austin, TX and B)Because I very much enjoy traveling and meeting new people--Not very original, I know.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, the social cocktail mentioned above and meeting up with a surfer in Barcelona through my cousing and fellow CSer...was awesome. Everyone was very nice and inquisitive and generous with their time and city.

Obviously, traveling. Reading. Tasting new foods. Anything outdoors...camping, hiking, kayaking and patio happy hours!

All types of music from classical, to acoustic, to reggae, folk, instramental, film scores....the list goes on and on... Books, mostly narratives but also autobiographical adventures. Movies..all types..Dramas, documentaries, foreign origin, adventure....

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Hiking/Camping for a week in Big Bend, attending the Cannes Film Festival 2010, saw a sea turtle laying eggs on a beach in Cancun (truly amazing!), meeting so many wonderful people in my travels.
