I am a Czech girl who loves traveling and meeting new people :) I have been to 25 countries (+ visited 28 states in the US) so far and still don't have enough. I spent a year in the US. As an exchange student. I studied at Kansas State University in Manhattan,KS and after that, I did one month round trip through the western part of US to Florida. Three years later I came back to the US, that time to Philadelphia, where I studied at Temple University. I also traveled, this time to Tennessee, Massachusetts, and Florida again.

The most beautiful place I have ever been to was Iceland 2 years ago. I have spent almost 3 weeks in camper car and enjoyed the best from Iceland. Another great experience was hiking in Kavkaz in Georgia with my best travel companion, Kata.

I love sport (but still don't get American football rules), play the guitar, speak 4 languages, love sushi and pasta.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I wanna meet new people, a new culture and get a lot of new experiences. My first CS experience was in Sweden and then in the US. I like that CS is not just about spending some nights somewhere for free. I enjoy every minute I can spend as a guest with a host (so far host, but in future, I'd like to host too). The nice thing is that every place, every person and every time is different and hides different story :)

Thanks to CS I could have experienced spending a night in a sailboat in Key West, Florida. I had my first Korean Barbecue in Los Angeles. I slept in an abandoned house in the middle of nowhere in Georgia. I was hosted by US army chef for Thanksgiving dinner and helped him to cook for 50 people and many mooore.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was swimming in thermal springs in Yellowstone. There were two springs combining together, one had 4°C, another 90°C. It was really hard to find the middle between them and not get boiled or freezed. Outside was -14°C and during the few minutes where I was there my hair had hoarfrost.
