ABOUT ME

to be honest, i don't like to fill in such forms because i think that people can really know each other only when they meet in reality. i prefer in the first place to judge by smb's deeds, not by smb's words or, for example, music preferences. it sounds banal, still it's true.

and, of course, the second reason is my bad english ))) because i can write something that no one would understand )))) but as far as i have to write some words about myself i will try my best in this uneasy mission ))

in short, i was born in belarus, at the age of 3 i went to a kindergarten where we sang songs, read books, played with little cars, broke girls' dolls, was kicked by girls for their broken dolls and did many other funny things. yeah, it was really cool. when i was 7 i went to school for 11 years, at the age of 14 i found my first job which helped me not to ask my mom for pin money every day. now i'm a third-year student at the belarusian state university of informatics and radioelectronics and would study there for 3 years more. what would be then? i don't know exactly. but what i know is that this is the end of the official part of my dossier ))))

i started to travel when i was 19. it was really crazy 15-days hitchhiking tour from belarus to poland and then to czech republic for 3-days summer open-air festival. i would never forget this trip. there were so much adventures, emotions, new acquaintances, amazing places, great parties... ohh, i can speak about it all day long )))

it's summer 2008 now. in a week i would take a month's vacation and first would go to the black sea to my friends from ukraine for 2 weeks and then from 15 to 29 august we would travel by car from belarus to lithuania-poland-germany-netherlands-belgium. the main target of our journey is 3-days open-air festival in ieper, belgium, but also it would be great to meet with somebody in amsterdam, where we would stay, i suppose, for 5 days.

upd (2008-09-02): i've just arrived at home from my trip and i've got no words to describe it. the only thing that i could tell is that i definitely would never forget all these places i've visited and all these people i've met along my travel. guys, you're fucking awesome and you will always be in my byelorussian heart :DD

upd: oh, i absolutely forgot to introduce myself! i'm 20 y.o. very positive and friendly kid from belarus who likes honey, doesn't eat animals, who likes to swim at the sea at night, to have fun everywhere, who always could stand up for himself, for his friends, for his family and who is soooo modest ))))))) hahahaha ))))))

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i don't see any negative features of such kind of traveling if you are an adequate and honest person: you meet with interesting people, see new places, have a lot of fun etc. it's great, i think.

Music, Movies, and Books

music. music is something which i need as much as i need air for breathing. hardcore, punk rock, hip-hop, post-rock, indie rock, progressive rock, experimental rock, metalcore, screamo, 8-bit, nintendocore, breakcore, idm, d'n'b, ragga-jungle, soul, trip-hop.... there are a great amount of styles which i like a lot.

the same with movies. it depends on my mood which films i would like to watch. if i'm alone at home it can be drama with serious subtle implication, but if i want to spend time with my friends = beer + sofa + potato chips )) - it definitely would be really stuuuupid movie with stupid translation and stupid script. i think it's great choice for such pastime ))

books. brain should be fed as good as your stomach, i think. but sometimes because of the job, study and meeting with friends it's too hard to find time for reading... and right now i'm trying to find it for hakim bey )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

i'm a kid-grasshopper. at the age of 15 i wrench my patella almost to the opposite side of the knee. it wasn't nice. believe me ))

!!! i can bake pies!!!! )))))))))) really ))))))))

i'm vegetarian, and i can show you on my own example how it is possible to be in a good form without eating animals... but don't worry, if you keep sausages in your refrigerator i wouldn't chase you with axe ))))))))

what else?.. hmm... i can put my jeans into the clothes washer, turn it on and only then remember that i forgot to take money from my pockets. it's very usefull skill.

i can do back somersault.

but that's cool i think.

also i can solve quadratic equations. almost like calculator. i don't know what for but i can.

i'm very useful couchsurfer. definitely.
