ABOUT ME

Hello!! My name is Isaac.
Well, first off, I've always believed that these sections in which you attempt to describe yourself will never replace a good conversation. Nevertheless, I will attempt to do my best. I live in El Paso, Texas, border town with Juarez, Mexico. I'm actually Mexican by birth but because of the proximity of Juarez to the United States, I was able to obtain a student visa and started school in El Paso, Texas at the age of four. This tremendous opportunity brought upon by hard work and many sacrifices has enabled me to take upon a myriad of goals and endouvours. Today, El Paso has become my new home. I live there with my sister, Dafne. We often visit my parents who still live across the border in Juarez. This unique community has allowed me to exploit the best of what both Mexico and the United States have to offer. It was not until the first time I traveled outside this area that I realized how lucky I was to experience life in two different countries almost simultaneously. For some the idea of being in Mexico, then crossing into the U.S. and back again to Mexico in time for lunch was difficult to understand.
As for my profession, I am a proud nurse at the University Medical Center of El Paso, working at the Neonatal department. I am part of the Low risk neonatal team and I am blessed to bear witness to the miracle of life every day. My passion for Medicine made me realize my calling and my dream to become a physician. For now, I will begin my Masters Degree and start my training as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, while trying to finish my premed courses in order to soon be eligible to apply to medical school. To finish off, I'd like to say that I am a firm believer that each and everyone of us has a story to tell, and that today's society has boosted our ability to tell these stories through a plethora of social media platforms. As groundbreaking as this might be, I feel that a true personal connection that allows you to truly know a person requires more than just a typed message and a picture behind a profile page. Therefore I'd like to invite you to know me and my story, whether by allowing me the pleasure of being your guest or giving me the opportunity of one day being your humble host.

I am new at this, but hoping to host and be hosted soon Convenient if your looking to crash at a place and have some privacy especially since, whenever I work I'm out for the entire day.

Interests

Read a good book, although lately only nursing books, go long walk or hike, bike riding along the El Paso/Juarez border, hang out at my favorite cafe or tea house.

Tough, basically anything that isn't hard rock... no slipknot and those type of bands, other than that i'm down! House M.D., Grey's Anatomy, Walking Dead, CSI: Miami, The Tudors, Rome, Band of Brothers, Lie to Me, 24! tough... not a complete list of course but,
Love in the times of Cholera, The lost symbol, 1984, The once and Future King, A brave new World, Hamlet, and a few others just can recall right now! As far as movies, there are so many and I am quite fond of going to the movies.
