HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

When i lived in Stockholm, i descovered Couchsurfing thank of some friends, i liked it immmediately and so i decided to join. During my time in Sweden, i hosted several people and then i surfed couch in Oslo and Bergen. Now in my home town i am happy to continue to host surfers and meet travellers for a coffe or a walk as well, it is so nice for me to show around and help to descover my town and Toscana. Often I hang around with the Florence Cs community.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfing is really an amazing life experience!! I have the opportunity to meet so many new friends (surfers, travellers) and also friends who come from other places and live in my town. I can share with all them really beatiful experiences and chatings, descover interesting stories, know other cultures, ideas and point of views about life and world, so learn so many new things. It is a wonderful opportunity to improve yourself in the mind and heart.

It was great!! In Norway i surfed couch of great and frendly people. In Oslo my hosters prepared for a very tasty dinner!!

兴趣

Maybe one of my biggest passions is to have new experiences and this is possible in a lot of ways:
-meeting your friends and new friends, listening their stories and talking about different topics,
-travelling, so descovering new cultures and places
-conducting different social activities, both more "serious" like visiting museums, exhibitions, going to concerts, and more mondan, like aperitivs, parties, dinners, watching movies
-reading
-playing sports (i love to run, bike, hike in the nature)
-learning and doing manual works (they are a perfect against stress)
-learning to cook (and of course eat) something of new (of course i love Italian cousine, but i am happy to try also ethnic food).

I love to share experiences and talk about several topics: renewable energies and energetic efficiency, environment, sustainable development, history, art, handicraft products, nature, psycology ( i find bioenergetic analysis really interesting), news, journeys, life and emotions!

Music
I like almost every kind of music: classical, rock, pop, light, commercial! But please, don't ask me names of singers and songs, because i forget always!!

Movies
I like really Kubric movies, Point Break and Sergio Leone Wester, Prison Break and comedies of course!!

Books
I love to read many kind of books, both novels and essaies, about energy, renewable energies, journeys, psicology, philosophy, history, art, architecture.

Trips
In Europe i have been in many countries. For two times i travelled in Europe with inter rail ticket. First time i travelled in Spain and Portugal and the second time in East Europe, that is Slovenia, Croatia, Hungary, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland. Travelling by train is wonderful, you can meet so many people, locals and other travellers. I really recomand this kind of experience.

And I have lived in Sweden for almost two years. Thank of this experience, i could understand what means to live in another country in a more international context, to know other cultures and people from a lot of different countries, everyone with different and interesting stories. It was for me an opportunity to learn so many new things. And during my time in Sweden, i visited Estonia, Finland and Norway (wonderful viewes) too.

In Asia, i have been in China in main towns, that is, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjin, Beijin, Hong Kong. In every place i had local friends, so i could better descover and feel the local culture, food (i ate so tasty dishes) and atmosphere. In Beijin it was so wonderful, because my friend Sarah, fashon designer, hosted me in her studio in the centre of the town in a very typical area, so close to the Forbidden Town: really a unique experience, because i felt the traditional China.
And i have been in Lebanon too. My friend Hassan hosted me in his town, in Tyr. We visited then Beirut, Jeita (wonderful grotto), Byblos, Sidon, the countryside and everywhere there are archeological areas that remember the long history in this country: Phoenician, Greek, Roman, Crusader, Arabic. And it is so emotional also descover the recent history together to local people. And of course i enjoyed typical music and dishes.
