My name is Iacopo, I am 33 years old and I teach maths and physics in secondary school.

I have a care-free and outgoing personality. I gladly joke around, make fun of concerning situations, and keep my life full of laughter in general.

Other than that, I deeply enjoy travelling, learning about foreign cultures, and studying foreign languages. I always interact with foreign-born teachers who work in my school to keep my ties with countries outside of Italy.

I am no movie expert. I like diverse films such as the musical Phantom of the Paradise, the science fiction movie Durante la tormenta, the survival drama La sociedad de la nieve, and Italian classics such as Fantozzi.

My music playlist is quite peculiar. I enjoy traditional Italian songwriters such as Lucio Battisti, Fabrizio de André, and Edoardo Bennato, while I also keep listening to Japanese soundtracks due to nostalgic links to specific media.

My favourite books are actually dictionaries: I do enjoy reading fiction, albeit I usually lack time (and patience) to complete them.

I have nothing to teach. However, I have a whole lot to learn: I would like my hosts to help me know better their countries and languages, and share with me their ideas about activities we could do together in Italy. Even I, an Italian citizen, have a limited knowledge about my own country!
