At the moment I work as a Registered Tax Preparer and Uber Driver. I live near San Francisco with my wife and we’re hoping to start a family very soon. We’d love to travel a little bit more before we finally do though.

I love to meet new people and am always excited for new experiences. We speak Spanish at home, so if I’m traveling with my wife, meeting Spanish speakers is always a plus! When my wife can understand and be understood easier, she’s a total social butterfly.

I’m on Couschsurfing to be able to travel with my wife on a budget and meet some really interesting people! I did a little bit of Couchsurfing years ago when I was “footloose and fancy-free” and I really enjoyed the people I met on my travels. My wife has a lot less travel experience than I do, but she’s a total social butterfly. I’m hoping to show her the world in a fun way :)

I love all kinds of music, seriously… although I’ve been listening to a lot more instrumentals lately.

I love movies, and some of my favorites tend to be thought-provoking dramas and/or tear jerkers.

I enjoy some fiction, but mostly non-fiction when I have time to read. Some of my favorite authors are Michael Pollan, Jon Krakauer, and Malcolm Gladwell.

I've traveled to dozens of countries in my life thus far, and I hope to travel to many more! In my 20s I lived in Nicaragua for about 7 years where I met the woman of my dreams and married her.
