I first got into Couchsurfing at the advice of friends while I was traveling in Europe. Couchsurfing has helped me in many places to meet with some amazing locals and travellers who will hopefully one day grace my couch!

I've recently been getting into older literature, classics such as "The Picture of Dorian Gray" by Oscar Wild, "Uncle Tom's Cabin" by Harriet Beecher Stowe and also some seaworthy tales by Joseph Conrad. I've been loving them for their wordy imagery but Paulo Coelho's books are also brilliant in a different way, good reads with a great message. My favorite of all world probably be "Veronika Decides to Die." Anthony Kiedis and Che Guevara have fantastic biographies. As for movies, Jason Bourne is the man. Rock music generally comes comes 1st for me, aussie bands too, but listen to everything and also a lot of Colombian tunes!

Finding my surfing feet on a solo voyage through Central America. Talking my way in a Spanish tongue through hectic border crossings in a van full of aussie drunkards. Living the easy surfing lifestyle in a van on the coast of Morocco for 2.5 months with two great mates. Scuba diving the continental rift in Iceland and crystal clear cenotes in Mexico. Soaking up the sounds in Istanbul. Volcano dipping in Colombia. 134m bungee in NZ. Desert Camping in Morocco. Endless Uyuni Salt Flats. Early birds to Macchupicchu/Waynapicchu. Countless street pad thai's/green curries. Exploring the pristine Tassie wilderness. Climbing to the summit of Volcan La Concepcion in Nicaragua.
