About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My current mission is to have more WOW! WOAH! & OMG! experiences.
ABOUT ME
Me?
In one word? quirky
In two words? good quirky
In many other words? honest, patient, goofy, caring, humourous, fascinated by rain, friendly, cannot get enough of nature, fun, ticklish, enjoy black and white photos, not a good singer, close with my family, smiley, enjoy my friends, love to color, belly laughs are a must, always stop to smell the flowers, I do not dance well, a puddle jumper, nuturer, have a weakness for dessert, sunshine basker, adore spring, have funky toes, trusting, wacky, simple, genuine, thankful, and a rainbow maker,
PHILOSOPHY
I know this sounds cliche, but I totally believe in treating others as you would like to be treated yourself. Oh! and take the path less traveled.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Right now I need to surf couches, but when I return from my upcoming trip, I will host and be more involved with the CS community.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've surfed once in Germany. Looking forward to surfing a bit more and meeting interesting folks.
Interests
I have a complete affinity for the outdoors. More specifically - kayaking, biking, fishing, camping, hiking. I enjoy traveling, cooking, walking. I can sit for hours and soak in a beautiful vista or an amazing sky. Getting lost. Taking a nap outside.

Music, Movies, and Books
#1 all time favorite movie: The Goonies. Shawshank Redemption, Empire Records, Green Mile, Incrediable Shrinking Woman, Wizard of OZ,
Enjoy most music. James Blunt, Michael Buble, Jack Johnson, Ivri Lider, Train, Jason Marz, Lily Allen, Beyonce, The Fray, Rufus Wainwright, Billie Holiday, Diana Krall, Cold Play. Not a fan of Rap or Heavy Metal.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In 2005 I backpacked through Mexico alone for one month. The absolute best experience of my life. I came away from that trip with a better understanding of myself. My favorit memory from Mexico is waking up in a cabana on a mountain top, to the faint sound of church bells from 4 neighboring villages in the state of Oaxaca. It was just so peacful.
Teach, Learn, Share
This may not be the appropriate area to write this, but I recently bought a boomerang. It looks easy, right? If I can get it to work, what do I do when it comes hurling back at me? run?
