About Me

I just finished teaching for the summer and am headed on a road trip up the West Coast to Portland, OR and back. I'll be meeting my British friend, Lewis in PDX and we definitely could use a couch to crash on for a night as we explore the city. Also looking for fun people to show us the city a little bit, and give us tips on their favorite bars, food, scenery, etc. in the area! Obviously, anyone who comes to southern CA will also have a couch to crash on in return ( : Can't wait to experience this beautiful country!

I'm a high school science teacher (Biology/Earth Science/Psychology) living in San Diego California.
I also work at an outdoors adventure/travel store called REI.

I love meeting new people and hearing about their passions and life experiences. I strive to live life as adventurously and vibrantly as possible.

Current Mission:

To make people from around the world feel welcome in the beautiful city of San Diego, and to meet new people while partaking in awesome adventures around the world!

About Me:

I love adventure. I love meeting new people and learning new things. I love exploring all that life, and the world around me has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've started hosting people again at my home again in San Diego after taking a hiatus due to the business of life, etc. and am so excited to be a part of this awesome global community again. I took a trip to Sweden and Denmark in April 2016, and surfed with a few really awesome hosts. It made me realize how much I love CS, and made me decide to start hosting people again at my house whenever possible amidst my busy schedule.

During my 3rd year in college we hosted about 20 different couch surfers from 10 different countries in our home. It was an awesome experience and I look forward to more meeting more awesome and unique people from around the world and making them feel welcome in our beautiful city of San Diego. I've kept in touch with some of the friends I made through couch surfing over the years and look forward to growing my couch surfing community.

Couchsurfing Experience:

I surfed a friend's couch in L.A. a couple of times and have had a really good experience! I've also surfed a number of other places in CA and around the western US! I also just got to stay with a couple people in Stockholm & Gothenburg Sweden, as well as in Copenhagen, Denmark! I haven't been able to surf as many couches around the world myself as I'd like to since I became a part of the couch surfing community. Being a full-time student and working has limited my ability to get away. However, I plan to travel soon and go to some of the places I have always wanted to travel to around the world and expand my couch surfing community! I can't wait!
