Hi, I am Chris, a kid from the 90s that loves cycling, longboarding, running, badminton and coding. I am sharing a flat with my girlfriend and three other friends close to the center of Potsdam. We live here together since (I guess) 2011. I would not say that we are vegetarians but we like to avoid meat and vegetarian or vegan meals are also very yummy! Most of the times we cook at least vegetarian. Don't mind - feel free to tell me if you are vegetarian, vegan or whatever. I will ask you anyways. ;P

Just a 5 min walk from our home you can find the lake "Heiliger See" where you can take a run, swim or do some yoga or standup paddling. It is surrounded by some well known tourist attractions like the "Marmorpalais" or "Cecilienhof Palace". In the winter I do indoor sports on a weekly basis like badminton or blouldering. In case we have great weather and its not too cold outside I like to play beach volleyball at a place thats really close. Additionally I use my bike a lot. For example to hit Berlin at the weekends or go to the office. In 2019 I did my first real bikepacking tour from here to spain where I met a lot of crazy people. In autumn I like to hike through the forest and collect mushrooms to cook great meals.

I am doing couchsurfing because I want to meet other open minded and inspiring people. Sleeping in a hotel for me is boring and can also be very expensive. I hate racism, foodwaste and the fact that there are unfortunately so many homeless people in my country.
