About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Break out of my shell and meet some awesome new people around the country
ABOUT ME
Just graduated and living with family, friends, and on oil rigs that I'm working on (so I don't want to verify with an address quite yet). I love fair weather hiking, kite flying, playing my ukulele, snowboarding, biking, doing my bar trivia job, making smart-ass comments while watching horrible movies and struggling to shut the hell up during the good ones.
I'll even do the dishes.
PHILOSOPHY
Batman?
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
CouchSurfing is the greatest when you're on a road trip. Would meet for coffee or show someone around if they offered and I was available. Would love to return the favor.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Surfed a couple times this last summer while on a roadtrip with my friend. Had a fantastic time.
Interests
Oh god I thought I already said these. Why is there an "all about you" box and then an "interests" box?!
I'm a casual drinker and I'm 420 tolerant but I don't consider myself a heavy partier. My mood is too easily dependent on the weather. I love How I Met Your Mother and MST3K, but I haven't had TV for over a year.

Music, Movies, and Books
I just finished "Me Talk Pretty One Day" by David Sedaris. My favorite book I've ever re-re-read has probably been Fight Club, which the movie was based on. I don't know, my bookshelf is pretty full.
I love, love, love Kung-Fu Panda. That movie will never get old. Haven't seen the sequel though. I also love movies like Pulp Fiction, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Scott Pilgrim, ...I don't know there's about a million movies I love.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked on a sailboat for a week, going from Long Beach to Catalina Island and back. One of the funnest weeks of my life. I've been to D.C., family in Michigan and Denver, and grew up here in Colorado, so I've seen a lot of Colorado. Would still love to live here when it comes time to getting a real life job, but I want to explore the country first and see where that takes me.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can't cook in a kitchen, but I can cook on a campfire pretty well. I know the alphabet backwards well enough to do it drunk. I'm self taught ukulele.
I majored in Geology, so if you ever drive through the mountains or the desert with me and have a question about something, I probably know it, but I probably won't tell you unless you ask because I realize that most people are immediately put to asleep by the idea of geology.
