ABOUT ME
I am interested in leaning practical skills, growing as a human being and trying to treat each moment as if it were my last.
PHILOSOPHY
I try to remind myself often this moment is all there is. I believe that meaningful human connection, the free sharing of ideals, ideas and dreams, is the most important thing in our lives. I believe that teaching children, healing the sick and making people laugh are the most noble endeavors.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I try to pay it forward. I tell the younger kids I meet that want to travel, but don't know how to afford it about couchsurfing.org. When I'm home and see travelers I try to hook it up for them as best I can with pancakes, coffee and local knowledge. When I'm surfing I wash dishes and try to keep my pile of stuff as small and tidy as possible.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've been treated so well in my traveling by strangers. Going into situations respectfully helps a lot. With an open heart and mind and not having expectations takes practice and is worth the effort.
Interests

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once ate a peach off of a tree so ripe my fingers pierced the skin and juice ran down my arm.
I once saw the full arc of a double rainbow over the Pacific ocean at sunrise.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have basic carpentry and masonry skills. I know very little about gardening and want to learn more. I can fix my own bike, and probably yours. I practice some yoga. I can juggle. I get lucky and sometime cook food that is good.
I want to learn more, about everything.
