About Me
Hi, my name's Paul but feel free to call me Kruso.
I'm originally from the north of England however I have been moving around the world now for just over 7 years.
To cut a long story short as I'd love to share the full story with you in person, I moved away from the UK in 2009 looking for new opportunities, excitement and a whole bunch of new friendships. I haven't looked back since and it's honestly the best decision I have ever made in my life.
Along the way I have lived in a few different countries. I like to get established in places and really experience the culture and the lifestyle. I've generally lived in western culture type places however, no matter where I have been, everywhere has been quite different to the small town in England that I grew up in for almost 23 years.
Recently in 2016 I said goodbye to my friends in New Zealand where I had been for the previous 5 and a half years and set out for Canada where I am now living, and really wanted to meet lots more people from all over the world and live in an environment that made things feel new. The great thing about North America is that you have access to many other parts of the world and I really would like to spend some time exploring more of Canada and the United States.
I was told about Couch Surfing as a great way to make life long friends and to be shown a different way of life by like-minded generous strangers. I'd love to spend some time on your couch so you can show me how you live and what your city means and brings to you. I want to see what you see, and I want try food and visit places that I never would have seen otherwise.
I'm on here to make friends who I can share stories and jokes with. I like to have a laugh, I enjoy music and I like to make good memories.
Once I am established I am certainly going to offer out my home to those who want to have a new and different experience. I do hope I can repay favors to those who give me a chance also.
That's enough about me for now but if you did want to know anything else, please just give me a yell.
Good luck on your own adventures if you are reading this, and flick me a message if you'd like to meet.
Interests
I was talking to my friends about this the other day. There are three things in life I couldn’t live without. 1. Music. The music I like is quite generic and buts my emotions into words. I love music whether it's the song itself, the thought of being able to sing it or just the feeling it gives me as i listen and go about my life.
2. I love meeting new people and having memorable laughter. There is nothing better than being happy and appreciating a moment, no matter where you are or who you are with.
3. I love learning about myself, other people, pushing my limits and getting excited about the future. I do not come from a lot but I have been blessed with the things I have. I appreciate what is out there to experience and it's a shame when moments or experiences are not appreciated.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I feel like I could share my knowledge and take on the world, some great jokes, life experiences and lessons learnt.
I'd hope I could create a stress free environment, I believe I'm considerate, clean tidy and aware of other peoples requirements. I know showing someone around, or being a host can be extremely exhausting so I don't expect the world from you.
I feel i'm fairly easy to get along with no matter what walk of life you come from and prepared to give you a hand with anything should you need it :)
