My long term aim is to set-up an intentional community. This is a grand aim and I have a lot to learn!

I love bringing people together - it brings me great joy to organise and host social gatherings. I'm currently seeking to discover new ways to do this and work toward the community.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing to make contact with people around the world whom I may wish to visit/have visit me and potential create communities with in the future.

I have an evolving interest and understanding of the importance and challenges of establishing resilient communities.

I am a keen martial artist, love music of many varieties (though often lack the vocabulary to express this love) and have many other, shallowly-invested in interests and hobbies.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can offer a broad range of computer/IT/office/business skills. I have studied computing and business management at university; worked as a software engineer, an office manager and have set-up/managed my own veg box delivery business. I'm generally well organised and proactive. I hope to use these skills in exchange for food/accommodation and opportunities to gain practical domestic/land skills. As such, I'm happy to get my hands dirty. I'm physically capable so have no problem getting stuck in!

Additionally, I have a full and clean UK driving license (if that would be of use in your country...). I am also trained in traditional Chinese martial arts and have been attuned to Reiki level 2. I'd be happy to practice with others.
