ABOUT ME

so i've always loved to travel and have wanted to travel around the world for quite sometime! i've been living in georgia for most of my life, but have had some great travel experiences in the past. i also had the opportunity to live in argentina for 10 months when i was about 19 years old. i learned spanish there and ended up studying the language in the university after returning to the states. after getting my degree in spanish i decided i wanted to be a nurse! so basically i was in college for way too long! i've been working as a pediatric nurse for the past 3.5 years, but have recently quit my job to do a RTW trip! this is something that i have wanted to do for a long time and i'm so excited to actually realize this dream. i am new to couch surfing, but really want to be a part of this community. i can't wait to meet new and fascinating people. if you have any questions about me please feel free to ask!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

well, i just started surfing and have had some excellent experiences! when i'm finished traveling and back home i would like to open up my home for couchsurfers!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

i was able to couchsurf while in sweden and finland this summer and had really great experiences each time. the people i stayed with were very kind and helpful and hopefully when i am back home i can return that kindness!

Interests

traveling, taking photos, meeting people, listening to music, going to concerts, taking more photos, sometimes i like to read. i've grown to enjoy hiking a bit more these days. i like to see beautiful places. i'm interested in the fact that there are so many interesting people in the world. i'm getting to meet many of them during my travels ... it's inspiring.

Music, Movies, and Books

hmm ... elbow, sufjan stevens, damien jurado, edward sharpe and the magnetic zeros, jay-z, sigur ros, bon iver, passion pit, radiohead, ryan adams, the xx ... i like lots of music! some 80's, some 90's, some reggae, some rap. i would love to be introduced to some new music while traveling.

love watching movies and like reading books ... have a really hard time picking favorites.
