Hello!
My name is Ophelia, I am artist from Melbourne, Australia. My practise focuses on ideas are queer experience and spiritual ritual, using the medium of performance art, often documented through video and sculpture.

I am a calm and quite person, I spend a lot of my time in nature whenever I can be, other wise I’m going to every art show and opening to see and learn as much as I can. One of the best things is a good conversation over a cup of tea.

I identify as non-binary and queer and use they/them pronouns. I’m vegan and care about sustainable living. I’m also very interested in witchcraft practises and ritual and tarot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m Couchsurfing because I believe it is a really lovely way to be introduced to a new city and share moments with people from every background and learn from each other. Particularly moving to a new city where I don’t know anyone, it would be wonderful to be in the comfort of a wholesome home when I first arrive.

I dj a little bit back home and play disco and house music from 70-90s but also listen to quite a bit of jazz.

I’m often reading or watching something in relation to my art practice as research.
