About Me

After login in since a long time, I realised the can host yes/no/maybe option is gone. So I'll just write it here: I pretty much stepped out of Couchsurfing since the summer of 2014 and I don't know if or when I'll host again.

CURRENT MISSION

Having a good time

ABOUT ME

I'm a friendly person who likes to travel now and then, but also likes to host people and spending time with them. What's most important in that to me is to be around nice people!
I'm a little bit of a silent person at start, but that changes when I get to know a person better. And it also depends on the click I discover/feel. I'm always open to possible friendships and I love spending time with nice people. So CS is perfect for that. I love memories from events/friends I made in a short time through CS. And I love spontaneous things. I don't like to plan too far in advanced, but you can send me couchsurfrequests a long time in advance! Just remind me later, in case I forgot haha.

Currently I'm between jobs.

I live in a house with 4 house mates: 3 being human and one being a female cat. Lately this has been kinda an international house. And some of us are on Couchsurfing.
Also I've got a hopping rabbit, but she's outside unless if she'd be ill or if it's freezing very much.

PHILOSOPHY

To have a good time and that might come with acting silly from time to time.
And well all with friends or potential friends.
To talk about everything and nothing ;) from serious to joking around...
Creating great memories and on going friendships.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm not active!

Gosh it's a mixture. Over the last years, especially last summer, I received a lot of CouchSurfers at my home. I really like hosting, unless if they make me feel like it's a hostel and that they didn't pick me for me. If I can, I'll show you around. Otherwise I'd really like for us to get to know each other.

Couchsuring myself I did also. Done that in Spain in Portugal. I still have to update a lot on this profile though as far as that.

For the rest I also hosted some events at my humple home. I've had board/card game events and living room concerts and I have some idea for future events! Sometimes I also like to go to event's that others organise.

I really cherish the memories from unexpected amazing experiences and I'm open for future ones! What I love most about CS is how it makes you able to make friends in only a small amount of time (because if you're both open for finding out in a short time if there's a click/connection, the changes are bigger that you discover a great thing) and having a great time (unexpected things are the best).

Interests

Spending time with friends, my pets, watching films/series (not often though), listening to music, trying to learn the guitar, trying to learn Spanish, going out sometimes, sometimes playing computer games or whatever else I feel like and of course a little travelling and doing couchsurfing things ;)
Also I try to sport 2 times a week.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a lot of different things, but mainly it has to be poppy kinda music, in particular pop rock.
Films: same counts here. Well good films can be of different genres. I generally like (romantic) comedy's and good thrillers.
Books: I'm not into books that much.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My fav holiday was to Kenya! It was an amazing experience. The clouds, the enormous amounts of land, the wild animals up close and of course the Kenyan people that we saw and talked with!
And there are a lot of couchsurfing related memories that I hold dear. Some things keep on amazing me, like how 1 choice can result in how the future looks for you in ways you couldn't have imagined! And I love the friendships I made through CS, that I hold dear. And it's always something unexpected but the more unexpected, the better! Like meeting a stranger (who happens to be on CS) when you just about to go the the centre of a big city and ending up walking with that person in that city.
