Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
staring my Self in the face in Kalalau valley
ABOUT ME
I am equal parts outgoing and antisocial. This equation works because I'm bad at math. I'd like to learn to lean more toward the former than the latter, thus my adventuring.
PHILOSOPHY
As a general rule, I go with the flow. And a wise man told me that turning down drinks is for fools.
Otherwise, I'll let the more eloquent speak for me...
"Do not ask who I am and do not ask me to remain the same... Let us leave it to our bureaucrats and our police to see that our papers are in order." -Michel Foucault
"I would like to lose the habit of speaking, and express myself, like Nature the artist, in eloquent designs." -Goethe
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to cultivate the sense of community that comes from sharing a couch, a bed, a space, a conversation.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I'm new to couch surfing, but am a gracious and considerate guest as well as an aspiring host (once I get back to the states).
Interests
Freedom, consciousness. I'm interested in philosophical meanderings, exploring the less-traveled paths, both mental and physical. Creating, sharing, connecting. Art, lit, music, cooking organic food, shopping at second-hand stores, yoga, bike-riding, getting rid of nervous energy through participation in the preceding activities.
