ABOUT ME

While we're both from Calgary (though we would meet in Toronto) and did our Master's together (how we met), Jenn and I are quite different but together we make a great team. Jenn is a visual and digital artist, whereas I am a former psych and comparative literature major, but we both wound up studying communication and culture when we met. We're now engaged (!), and couchsurfing made legs of our 2010 adventure exponentially better before we made the move to Montreal. We're excited to host a bit and give back to the network.

Jenn: Old classics especially Breakfast at Tiffany´s and Roman Holiday Black comedies like Heathers, Drop Dead Gorgeous and Sugar and Spice, and anything by Charlie Kaufman. music - eclectic but LOVE Bowie and anything fun to dance to... not big on TV but when I do it´s usually some trashy reality show. Love reading -eclectic tastes... magic realism like Gabriel Garcia Marquez, Laura Esquivel, and Salvador Plascencia.
