About Me

I enjoy having any kind of conversation with people. I could spend the entire day listening to stories from people over sightseeing. I am simple, curious, adventurous and love waffles.

Current Trip -
Hubei(china) -> Guangzhou(china) -> Hong Kong -> Vietnam ->Cambodia -> Thailand - > Malaysia - >Singapore(home)

After my diploma in product design, I enlisted into the army and was posted to the navy(shore). While serving, I took another diploma in web development.

I'm back from a 4 months backpacking trip from China to Singapore travelling on land by bus and train. So much fun and so much reflection, a bittersweet study of myself finding life's cliche questions. I learnt to ride a motorcycle in Vietnam and only had an accident 4 times. I got lost and got picked up by a police with an assult rifle and I made countless friends all bringing me smiles without words (even learnt sign).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Im yet to be fully committed and grounded down on life. Before i conform to the eventual mundane life, i need to explore, get to know more people, more culture. At the end of my life, I do not want to regret missing out on travelling.

I've spent some time thinking about why we crave for interaction with others. But logic brings the robot in us out, maybe I just want to be an animal and enjoy the simplest things life can give me; a smile.

TLDR: The cliche ~ 'finding oneself'.

Interests

I enjoy travelling whenever my budget allows me to. I love to chat about anything, from mundane to deeper intellectual conversations.

On mundane days, I actually stay home to use my computer more often(for work) , but when i have spare time, i enjoy making simple DIY projects or learning about something.

I like to keep active and do something different whenever I feel too comfortable. Although my tummy is getting bigger. . .

I consider myself more of a jack of all trades and get interested in almost anything easily.
