Overview
About Me
My first time backpacking was when I was 18 yrs old after graduating high school. I saved up a bit of money and traveled to New Zealand to hitchhike around, tramp around in the woods, and meet people. Since then I've spent a couple of summers leading sea kayak trips in the San Juan islands, leading trail crews on the PCT.
I studied chinese literature through college and got a chance to live and study in both Taipei and Beijing. Ive taught English abroad, at an elementary school in Portland, and am now leading high school students in an intercultural studies language program in Yunnan for the summer
