Overview
About Me
I'm a liberal arts student at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington (US). The travel bug bit me hard, and I'd love to backpack around the world. I play guitar, and love listening to and telling stories.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I saw this TEDtalk: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7vmHGAshi8. It really seems like the best way to meet new people and discover new cities.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Mostly jazz and fusion, particularly Pat Metheny, Michael Brecker, Sonny Rollins...I could go on for days and days.
Movies: I don't really keep up. But I loved Birdman, when it came out.
Authors: John Steinbeck, Jack Kerouac, Chinua Achebe.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I played the marimba in Carnegie Hall. 10/10 will not be invited back.
Teach, Learn, Share
If you want help with English, I'd love to teach what I can. Although I checked the 'fluent' box for Spanish, I still have lots to learn--I'd love to talk in Spanish (if that's your language of choice), if you've got the patience for it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Stories, music, enthusiasm, and help with cooking and cleaning.
Countries I’ve Visited
England, Spain
