Overview
About Me
I was born in Richmond, Virginia and raised in Ohio as the oldest of four children. All my life I have loved adventure - leaving my comfort zone is the surest way to grow and experience everything the world has to offer. I believe life is about experiences and the people with whom you surround yourself, and so finding those people and experiences has always been a priority for me. I have been lucky enough to travel a fair bit in recent years, and I hope to continue exploring the world and meeting new people while couchsurfing.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I love to travel, in large part because of the people I meet. Couchsurfing was recommended to me as one of the best ways to get to know incredible people during my travels, and so I decided to give it a shot.

Music, Movies, and Books
It's always hard to pick a favorite, but here are a few things I enjoy:
Music: country, hip-hop, alternative.
Books: The Last Lecture, Randy Pausch; The Magic Strings of Frankie Presto, Mitch Albom; Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk, Ben Fountain
Movies: Tarzan, Interstellar, The Way
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I lived in the Amazon in Peru for just short of a month working an internship in the winter of 2016.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Hopefully great company - I am a people person, and I love to get to know others. I am a big believer in the fact that in spite of what may seem to be insurmountable differences, everyone can find common ground. That said, I won't be suffocating - most days I will happily make my own plans and let you live your life. I understand that you are letting me into your home, and I have absolute respect for that fact. As such, I will take care for your belongings and do my best to leave your accommodation in better shape than I found it.
