Overview
About Me
I'm from North Carolina, and people tell me they can tell. I've been living the past 2 years of my life in rural towns in Ethiopia as a Peace Corps Volunteer. I've been teaching English, Computer Literacy, and some chorus clubs here and there all to my students' amazement.
I'm not afraid to introduce myself, nor am I afraid to express my opinion. I love discussion but overall, I just want to see people happy. Making people smile makes me feel great.
I used to classify myself as geeky, but since completing my Peace Corps service Ive learned Im much more than that. I love alternative sports, hiking, and generally socializing over a fire and/or beer.
I love teaching/assisting/volunteering/helping. It's in my blood. Don't be afraid to ask me for anything. Southern hospitality is just the tip of the iceberg for me.
I love music, film, animation, and the arts in general. I also love shooting film.
My mother's a dietician, my father's a chef and restaurant owner, my grandfather's a farmer, and my grandmother has written cookbooks. I love food just as much as them. Let's talk "texture" and "acid".
