About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I want to explore the world. Change my perspective. Learn as much as I can!

ABOUT ME

Just an average guy with above average expectations for life. I'm a lover of music, the arts, food, and beauty. I spent many years being introverted but have changed my ways. I love meeting new people and hearing the stories they have to tell. I suppose my friends would describe me as fun, caring and ferociously loyal. My friends are my family and I would do anything for them. It would be amazing to find new members of that family all over the world.

Oh, and also this.

PHILOSOPHY

Philosophy... Hm. The harder you work, the more value your goal has in the end. I could go on about being kind to everyone or how much better it is to be thought wise than a fool. But all I really want to say is
Be excellent to each other, and party on dudes!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed and hosted. I've enjoyed every minute! I've traveled the world and met some very exceptional people. Hopefully life will afford me more opportunities to get out and meet more people and see what the rest of this planet has to offer :)

Interests

Love the outdoors. Snowboarding, motorcycles, running... Anything active. Music, musicians, the arts. Anything beautiful :)
Food, cooking and making people smile!

Music, Movies, and Books

Not what you would call an avid reader, but I do like a good book. Love movies: V for Vendetta, Constantine, LOTR, anything Luc Besson or John Woo, 80's movies like Trading Places. Pretty much anything except sparkly vampire movies and over the top romances.
Obviously, I could never go a day without music. I love real music. Nothing over produced or plastic sounding. Punk, metal, rock, old fashioned soul, jazz, classical, folk. The only music styles I can't abide are power pop, country (post Garth Brooks), and whatever the kids call rap these days. (Don't confuse that with grassroots rap, because I love the underground)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been skydiving and rappelling. Loved them both. I'm rarely afraid to try anything physically insane and have the scars to prove it!

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, New Zealand, Scotland, Thailand, United Kingdom

Countries I’ve Lived In

United States
