About Me

New man ready to explore the world. Kind, laid back, fun loving. Enjoys a good time. 6'6". I love sports and hanging out with good people. I play basketball, softball, baseball and I bowl. I'm also an absolute foodie. I'm big on delicious dishes and finding them all over. I love listening to music and singing kareoke and dancing to classic tunes. Going to the beach and skiing are also two of my loves.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Trying to get the real experience of exploring Europe (Immediately, but everywhere really). I think it's a great idea to meet up with a local of the area I am staying at so I can get possibly shown the places that google wont lead me too. I also just love to heart other perspectives and learn about life in other areas than I grew up in (Long Island, NY). I am always striving to learn and open my mind.

Interests

Traveling! Basketball, baseball, bowling, all professional sports. Hanging out with good people. Laughing, telling stories, listening, learning about new things. Watching captivating movies/tv. Being Happy. Food! Its the best. Listening to live music, dancing and singing karaoke.

Music, Movies, and Books

It would be a lie if I didnt say that the Beatles weren't my favorite band becuase after all, I do know and love 100s of their songs. I'm into basically all music that makes you feel good. I love Kool and the Gang, Earth Wind and Fire, Rick James, The O Jays, The Gap Band, all those guys. The Manhattans. I'd say Kool and the Gang and Jimmy Cliff are my favorite Pandora stations. Love Led Zep, Skynyrd and all the classics. New music, good rap, Sublime, RHCP, Billy Joel...everything thats nice. Movies, really anything thats quality I'm down with. Or comedies or horror. As long as it's got a good plot I'm down

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Besides bowl a 300 game, which may be one of my proudest moments, I'd say jumproping with fire in Thailand at the Full Moon Party. (But new moments are happening every day) I mean the whole trip, of course, was amazing, but that was definitely a very cool and heart-racing moment.

Teach, Learn, Share

Well what I can say changed my life was getting in shape. I took basically 5 months to go from 305 lbs to 215, basically flipping my whole outlook on the world around. Now I'm living in the 250lb range but the lease on life the change did is incredible. Now I dance, sing, fear nothing. Confidence is the greatest thing that the gym gives you. For the past 3 years since my transformation, I've yearned to do what I never did before, Travel. Besides multiple states and Montreal, my two major trips were Mexico and Thailand. I am looking forward to continue my trek through the world, tackling Europe next (never been there).

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share with host what I share with everyone, my kindness, insight, laughter and willingness to explore. I am a peoples person. In my line of work I am constantly interacting with people and socialize with friends as much as possible. I am a tall dude, 6'6" to be exact, making for a great and confident wingman. Also a built in bodyguard, haha. Bottom line, we'll have a great time, dude/lady. I'm totally copecetic and respectful. I'm just hear to learn.
