Hi, I'm Ian!

I'm a 23 year old recent graduate from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. I currently work at the German Parliament in Berlin for the Vice President. I am very passionate about traveling around the world and experiencing new places and meeting new people. I've only used Couchsurfing once, but am looking forward to great experiences ahead with it!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm on Couchsurfing because while I want to experience as much of the world as possible while I still can, I do not have an unlimited budget and, even if I did, I would much prefer to spend money on experiences and seeing a country than an overpriced hotel room.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I lived as an exchange student / student ambassador for a year in Nuremberg, Germany as part of a federal government program (CBYX). Now I work for the German Vice President!
