Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Why am I on Couchsurfing? I am interested in meeting new people of course. Also I would like to practice my language skills. It is just the second time I travel abroad, so I wold like to get as much information as possible. For me, as a photographer, it is very important to make a contact with a person and have positive emotions during the conversation. For me as researcher it is very interesting to know the history of people I meet, their lifestyle and habits.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to all genres of music, but the most favourite genres are Hip-Hop and Indie.
I like Kendrick Lamar, J.Cole, Nas from Rap and The XX, Alt-J, Ben Howard from Indie music. Also I like some pop-rock groups such as Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian, the Kooks, Interpol and a lot of others.
For me it is important not only the text of the song, but also sound and vibe.

I'm keen on movies, I have watched more than 1100 since 2013. I prefer modern movies, my favourite directors are Fincher, Wes Anderson, Guy Ritchie, Martin McDonagh and many others.

My favourite books are: "Brave new world" by Aldous Huxley and "The Minds of Billy Milligan" by Daniel Keyes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Migration to Saint-Petersburg! It was a great opportunity to learn a lot of new things and get a lot of skills on the way to grown-up life.

I have been working in the telecommunications company and in cryptocurrency project. Also I can tell about my profession (quality assurance) and a lot of knowledge about photography.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can have a conversation about anything I am inerested in, I can try to fix any problem with software or give an advice how to fix it. Also I can share some tips how to make a good photo and make a photo of my host if he or she would like. Of course it is possible to get a russian souvenir or candy from me.
