About Me

I'm a freelance 3D Artist (working on video/mobile games and visual effects/animation for television and films), and I've recently arrived in the UK from New Zealand, and from Chile before that.

I have an amazing girlfriend who lives in Chile and is coming to join me in the UK shortly, and I also have a daughter in New Zealand who I hope to bring over once I get more settled.

I'm vegetarian, and I have a fascination with human psychology and behaviour, and would love to study it one day. I've been told I should become a life coach one day!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Looking to meet new people, and discover new places in London - I don't necessarily want to do the standard tourist attractions, and often find that locals know the best and most interesting places. Plus, I want to meet new people, and once I get settled I'd love to be able to return the favour and help out others!

Interests

Travel! I love to discover new places and new experiences.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm currently listening to the soundtrack to the game Life is Strange
(https://play.spotify.com/user/officiallifeisstrange/playlist/1f5ZzLDTXHTDR8CYIEddpW)

I watch a range of movies, mostly leaning towards the Indie / World scene. Which is not to say that I don't enjoy a Hollywood film from time to time either!
I have had a weak spot for Doctor Who since I was 5 years old.

I seldom find the time to read - yes, I know I should make the time - but was often leaning towards the Fantasy genre, I grew up on a diet of Tolkien and Pratchett, with a dash of Douglas Adams. Last series I read was Wheel of Time from Robert Jordan.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Delivered a baby (my own, and it was unexpected)!

Teach, Learn, Share

I actually worked professionally as a teacher, so if you want to know anything at all about the world of animation, either traditional or digital, I have many, many things that I could show you!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Lots of stories from many years of experiences, and a (hopefully!) good sense of humour

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Chile, New Zealand, United Kingdom
