Overview
About Me
I'm an American writer and cook who has decided to see the world, one city at a time. I love the arts, (food, music, movies, literature, games.) I've spent the past year (all of 2015) finding odd jobs around Asia, cooking, writing, and busking when I had to. I'm currently back in the US saving up money and building a bigger repertoire of music so I can continue busking and cooking in more places I haven't been.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on Couchsurfing because I love to make new friends and experience new cultures. Not only do I want to travel, but I want to see the places I go through the eyes of those that live there. I want to learn as much as I can, and I hope that I can provide at least some amount of fun and perspective in return.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
While staying with a friend in Singapore, in about three weeks, I earned enough money busking to buy a plane ticket to Berlin, with enough left to buy a ticket back to the US (after busking Berlin for a week.)
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn Cantonese (and Mandarin, eventually), German, and French. But besides english, I don't have much to teach, linguistically.
I'm always absorbing as much as I can about cuisine, and the culture surrounding it, which is something I'm more than happy to share.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my knowledge of the arts, my lengthy opinions about music and movies, and the stories of my travels. (Although, being so young, I haven't travelled very much.) I love to cook, but I especially love to cook for an audience, so I can share my food as well. And I'm always willing to do housework in exchange for a couch to sleep on.
