About Me

Calm, collected, Californian. I grew up in San Diego and frequented the many beautiful beaches regularly. But, it has come to my understanding that the world isn't made up of heavenly coastline and excellent waves. So I've made it my life goal to travel as much as I possibly can, and to experience everything this sassy big blue girl has to offer. I'm a nature fanatic and I love long coastal bike rides. All I really want in life is to see new places, meet great people, and experience new things!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been touring around the states with a band for the past few weeks and someone suggested couch surfing. More often than not we are scrambling to find campsites or cheap hotels. I love camping but its a bit rough trying to set up camp after being at a bar playing music all night. I figured I would give this a try and see how many people are interested in hosting four traveling musicians. I also heard its a great way to meet locals and find things to do while your staying in a certain area for a few days.

Interests

I've surfed most my life and I love the beach. I like anything that has to do with water, from the ocean to the river. Surfing, diving, sling fishing, canoeing, even just spending time in tide pools looking for sea creatures. I like older motorcycles and have owned a few. Currently I have an old honda that I'm have been converting into a cafe racer, when I'm not on the road. I also ride my road bicycle quite a bit. Which is 1975 Chonchord. I guess I'm kinda a sucker for the classics.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like all genres of music. My favorite is classic R&b and rock n roll. Some of my favorite musicians are Sam Cooke, The Growlers, Lake Street Dive, Otis Redding, Smokey Robinson, and the Talking Heads.

I like literary fiction. My favorite authors are Tom Robbins, Stephen King, and Christopher Moore.

Any movies made after the early nineties aren't worth watching.
