About Me

I am a graduate from the University of California at Santa Cruz. I am a film director, producer and screenwriter with some cool work under my belt (; and some on the way. I also work in creative advertising (off brand Don Draper).

I'm a pretty easygoing and chill guy from San Diego, CA. I prefer the beach over many things. I do love craft beers (Ballast Point Sculpin is my favorite), so bringing a pack of those if I host you will be greatly appreciated, or bring a six pack of your favorite beer or don't bring anything at all because most likely I'll have a pack of Sculpins in my fridge.

I am also a musician (not professional), I studied music theory for a few years and I enjoy playing guitar quite a lot.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Met some cool people through couchsurfing through friends who have hosted couchsurfers.

I also genuinely like showing people around the city that I live in, I like to immerse them in our culture and overall make their visit a little more meaningful.

Music, Movies, and Books

-My music genre moods change here and there but they mostly consist of indie/alternative, hip hop, EDM, and jazz.

-I love live music. I go to a lot of concerts and music festivals (Coachella 7x, FYF 3x, Austin City Limits, and a bunch of other smaller scale music festivals)

-I love all types of film and cinema, from independent short films to high budget blockbusters. Being a filmmaker, I tend to watch a lot of films that inspire my type of filmmaking. I'm a sucker for Wes Anderson film, I've probably seen Rushmore and The Royal Tenenbaums at least 6 times each.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Accidentally sailed next to breaching whales.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach basic guitar, photography, surf, swim, and I'm also pretty good at organic chemistry and calculus.

I'd like to learn what it's like to be a local of a city that I'm not local too.

I can share with you many stories growing up in Southern California and the types of experiences I had growing up.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can provide photographs of your estate, family portraits, business portraits, portfolio photos, or headshots.

I can also prepare pretty good breakfast and or dinner. I've been told I'm a decent cook.
